Abstract

Published here are materials of the Round Table held in April this year at the Political Science Department, Moscow State University. It were politico-psychological aspects of the impact of the world financial crisis on the world order and on the sphere of politics, that became the main theme of the Round Table. Special attention is given to the societal level of investigating the problem of overcoming the negative consequences of the crisis that are seen, in particular, in the unbalancing of the system’s controllability and stability. The political elite’s ability to adequately react to the changed circumstances, to the changes in the character of mutual relations of the power and society under the crisis, to the changed perception of Russia’s place in the world under the new conditions have been analyzed.
