Global social problems facing mankind on the threshold of the 21st century are considered in the article, both the problems and the quest for their solution being viewed as deeply related to the civilizational crisis of nowadays. It is demonstrated in the article that under the conditions of the civilizational crisis, whatever way leading to the solution of the said problems necessarily presupposes open dialogue of different political forces, confessions, social and public movements, advancement toward peace culture.
