Abstract
The gist of this article boils down to analysis of methodological and applied aspects of the realization of media monitoring of crises and conflicts. A study of the crises and conflicts potential of modern global media space has been carried out in it; besides it contains a review of theoretical conceptions and applied methods of the mass-media monitoring of crises and conflicts; possibilities of computer methods of media-monitoring are demonstrated, with the Lebanese-Israeli war of 2006 as example.
