Ilyin M.V. Are There General Principles of Evolution? – Polis. Political Studies. 2009. No. 2
The author offers to have a look at the correlation of biological and social evolution from a new point of view that presupposes exceeding the bounds of delimitation and opposition of biological organisms and human communities - bounds set by the formula of the biological versus the social. With this aim the author develops criticism of the metaphorics dominating in modern scientific thought. The key idea of the article consists in that it is not only biological and social evolution that it is possible and necessary to differentiate, but also evolution of individual beings and species («инди/видов») and of oikoses of any varieties from the simplest biocoenoses up to the world system of states.
