Gnedash A.A. In search of a lost subject: feminine and masculine determinants of belonging to the category of subject in modern Russia . – Polis. Political Studies. 2010. No. 5
The article considers interaction of subjects possessing either feminine or masculine characteristics, with the socio-political system. Particular features of this interaction, in the author’s opinion, arise from the process of their identification by the system: either as features implementing traditional gender role, or as features losing this role; in the latter case the system stops to “recognize” them, because their conduct becomes deviant.
