Abstract
The author analyzes characteristic features of propaganda materials being placed in the Internet. He points, by the way, to the process of decrease of the opportunities for any possible subject to exert straightforward, exclusive pressure on citizens. Among other things, the author makes an attempt to comprehend and reinterpret people’s traditional idea of propaganda, dwells on propaganda’s functions.
