The Round Table was organized by efforts of the Russian Association of Political Science, of the Polis journal and of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations - Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The participants of the Round Table held a number of discussions, of which the subjects were theoretical constituents of imageology and, besides, practical tasks involved by anything entailing formation of Russia’s image in other countries, as well as concrete conditions of political communication and the role of “soft power” and of mass media in case of adjustment of this image.
