Abstract

Experience of social policy in the countries of the West is generalized in the article, with possibilities of its application in Russia being taken into account. Social policy is considered in the context of the changing conditions of development, of the new approaches and practices. Attention is given to factors of competitiveness, of social justice, of inequality, and of incomes differentiation.
