Abstract

Under review is the book by V.G. Ledyayev: Sociology of Power. Theory and Experience of Empirical Research of Power. M., High School of Economics Publishing House. 2012. Characterized in the review are the cognitive models offered in the book – models that are often applied for empirical research of power. Basing her estimations on the presentation of the models in the book, the reviewer accentuates their heuristic potential for the analysis of power in modern Russia.
