Abstract

Analyzing the agenda for the Trump administration, the author argues that the US today is facing the issue of a large-scale package of measures to rescue a significant part of the American people living in “its backyard,” through methods at harmonization of the transition from a true patriot managed to grasp all the weak points of the Americans (in contrast to his opponents from the bi-party establishment). Trump has quietly encountered the challenge of “distorted traditional industrialism to the “new economy.” According to the author, Donald Trump as globalization,” aimed at mainstream “running ahead” in the interests of its superpower geopolitics and geo-economics, sacrificing once admired American industrial technology. Trump’s slogan “Let’s make America great again” does not call back to decades ago (as his enemies attribute to him), but as an appeal for a temporary ”pedaling back” of “rushing” to a harmonious transition of the whole people, not part of it, to the post-industrial phase of development. Naturally, the scale of the changes that have conceived Trump during the elections and with some minor amendments after his victory, is excessively huge, and fierce reaction of the conservative American establishment does not inspire optimism. However, in the world history, there have been cases when the obstacles to the development of capitalism were overcome without violence. If in a fairly short period of time, Trump succeeds to implement a substantial part of his reforms and to bring their implementation to the no-return point, then it will be enough to ensure that the public mood has changed, and the current split has been overridden. In this case, Trump will enter the annals of American history as a successful president-reformer. Donald Trump is not a “black swan,” but a true chance for the United States and for the world (including Russia) to work together against the main threats – terrorism, and to build a new world order on the principles of multipolarity and mutual respect, diversity of free national states.
