Hybrid society is a “big problem” for civilization and one of the possible defining features of the world order of the 21st century. Policy, economy, culture, war and peace, and other group interactions merge into a sophisticated continuum. Strategic advantage goes to systems able to operate efficiently in complex situations. Socio-cultural gravity (geo-culture) dominates in the world with elastic, liquid architecture. Proactive personality, private enterprises, and partnerships replace rigid, bureaucratic institutions, as well as the uprising of the elite replaces riots of the masses. The heterogeneity of Oecumene is connected not only with different levels of social and technological development. Agricultural, industrial, postindustrial societies differently adapt to critical circumstances. Military conflicts in recent times have taken placed mostly in the Afroasian zone of instability: Syrian maze, so-called “Islamic State”, Yemen, turbulent Libya, clashes in a number of states in Black Africa etc. This synthesis of military and civilian practices risks establishing itself as a new socio-political reality and cultural norm. A sophisticated hybrid world undermines the political consensus and the moral imperative of Modernity. Nuclear weapons may become an umbrella for corrupted actions. A glitch in the credibility of the security contracts can lead to the bankruptcy of the organization of the international community.
