Abstract

The article undertakes to analyze problems facing Russian higher school in connection with the country’s joining the Bologna process, and to attempt to seek for the ways of their solution. Proceeding from the experience of higher educational institutions, as well as chairs, specializing in political science, the author pins her hopes for real advancement toward a system of credits, toward their reciprocal recognition and mutual acceptance in payment – with eventual formation of professional networks inside the universitarian community and with horizontal connections to be developed between leading universitarian centers and regional higher educational institutions.
