Abstract

Democracy presupposes people’s mutual recognition as equally valuable and individually different. People’s individual specific features are largely determined by peculiarities of their cultures. Is their modernization compatible with democratization? Thorough wording and substantial interpretation of such questions, search for ways and means of answering them make the contents of this article.
