Abstract

The author raises a topical theme – the influence of the Internet on public and individual life. The article demonstrates the features of the Web-net that exert favorable influence on the user’s person and are utterly useful for the society. He also points, though, to such manifestations of the Internet’s potentialities, when its functioning proves to misguide the society.
