Gorshkov M.K., Tikhonova N.E. Russians’ dreams and the reality of demoscopy. – Polis. Political Studies. 2013. No. 5
In their article based on the materials of the all-Russian sociological investigation of “What the Russians Dream of”, the managers of the investigation Mikhail Gorshkov and Natalia Tikhonova concentrate on the following topic: “Are the Russians’ Dreams Realizable?” In the center of the authors’ attention are the differences demonstrated by representatives of the modern Russian society’s various strata differentiating in the level of their well-being, in the estimation of their personal achievements, in the conditions and possibilities of their self-realization, in their views of a just and reasonably arranged society, in their attitudes toward the ideas of state, of social equality and of freedom.
