Abstract

It is personality as subject of socio-political changes in the modern world that proves to be in the center of the authors’ attention. Posed in the article are methodological problems of comprehension of politics in the dimension of personality. New qualitative characteristics of modernity, new aspects of mutual influence of micro- and macropolitics are analyzed. Revealed in the context of such analysis is the tendency of individualization of politics as a possible alternative to man’s “esape” from the world of the political. The authors introduce the notion of infomodernity presented as an image of new social reality organized by interactive net forms of virtual communication, and accentuate interest for the “human dimension” of this new reality.

Keywords
an individual; personality; social alienation; homo politicus; quality of political subject; development; communicative space.
