The article is devoted to review analysis of three books published in 2013, dealing with the questions of effectiveness of state policy and governance: Setevoj analiz publichnoj politiki: uchebnik (pod red. L.V. Smorgunova) [Net Analysis of Public Policy (ed. L.V. Smorgunov)]. Moscow: RG-Press. 2013. 320 p.; Mihajlova O.V. Seti v politike i gosudarstvennom upravlenii: monografija [Networks in Politics and State Governance: a Monograph]. Moscow: KDU Publishing House. 2013. 332 p.; Bykov I.A. Setevaja politicheskaja kommunikacija: teorija, praktika i metody issledovanija: monografija [Net Political Communication: Theory, Practice and Research Methods: a Monograph]. Saint-Petersburg: FGBOU VPO “SPGUTD”. 2013. 200 p. It is summarized that these works are of high value not only due to profound analysis of underlying and particular aspects of using political networks in state governance, but also because they raise a number of questions worth further investigation.
