Abstract
A German researcher in political philosophy (1997-1999 Visiting Fellow, Hoover Institution on War, Revolution and Peace, Stanford, Cal., USA, and since 1999 Civic Education Project/Robert Bosch Foundation Visiting Lecturer, the Urals State University, Yekaterinburg, Russia) critically, and in a broad historiographical context, analyzes a comprehensive study on new extreme right groups in the West. The book reviewed, by M.Minkenberg, issued in 1998 by Westdeutscher Verlag, Opladen, Germany, contains most thorough comparative analysis of new right radical groups in the USA, France, and Germany.
