Strategic partnership between China and Russia may effectively promote the solution of today’s concrete and, also, potential problems in Chinese-Russian relations. Partnership must be based on reliable mutual understanding. For this purpose, the Russians should more closely acquaint themselves with the foundations of the Chinese civilization of which the kernel, in the view of the Chinese political scientist, is Confucianism. While learning to apprehend China, one should know works by those perfectly wise. The author in a similar way expresses himself to the effect that he is sorry that today there are hardly if only a few people in China who know and study such a significant cultural phenomenon as Orthodoxy which since long ago has been the kernel of the Russian civilization. Orthodoxy, in his opinion, is love, forgiveness, order and respect for the power. To comprehend the essence of Russia and of its people, as the author maintains, the Chinese must seriously study and understand its main national confession.
