Abstract

The authors are working up the metaphor of «political capital» as applied to the model of «production» of social capital in the framework of the functioning social nets, and of its subsequent conversion to political one. Not only theoretical and methodological aspects of the model are exposed, but also a case-study presented, with the regional political space of the Krasnodar territory (RF) as example. In the latter case, a number of relatively autonomous social nets of the territory scale are examined, as well as concrete mechanisms of conversion of the net resources to political capital.
