Musikhin G.I. Models of Modern Capitalism in New Political Economy: between Science and Ideology . – Polis. Political Studies. 2009. No. 3
The author makes an attempt to analyze the basic approaches towards a typology of modern capitalism within new political economy. The article argues that dualistic models which single out the liberal market economy as the starting point of analysis, are obviously subject to ideological bias on the part of neoliberalism (libertarianism), then the new political economy tends to be based on normative premeses about the most desirable economic order, rather than an abogective assessment of the real state of affairs.
