Abstract

System of delegation democracy is based on the role of political parties as intermediaries between citizens’ political will and formation of politics and political institutions of a country. The processes of globalization still going on even in the 21st century cause transfer of part of traditional authority of state to suprastate formations like United Nations, European Community. Hence the question of real legitimacy of the suprastate formations and also considerable reduction of the role of political parties in the creation of global social targets.
