Abstract
It is the problem of granting of suffrage to aliens that is investigated in the article. The author analyzes the factors that touch upon the possibilities of aliens’ political participation. On the basis of studying the international and domestic experiences, an attempt is made to expose the tendencies in the process of enfranchising resident aliens.
