The article and creation of the on-line library of books, articles, reports, documents were supported by the Russian Foundation for Fundamental Research and the Expert Institute for Social Studies within the framework of the project No. 20-011-31341 “Applied Technologies of Analysis, De-escalation and Settlement of Internal-political and International-political Conflicts (based upon systematized materials of conflicts on the Post-Soviet space and conflicts involving Russia in Far Abroad)”.

Abstract

The article approaches the phenomena of modern political conflicts and conflict studies, with the intention of providing an adequate level of information and scientific-educational resources to provide a basis for public political discourse. The authors introduce a new unique interface for political scientists that connects political science to public political discourse – an electronic resource of systematized literature on political science and political documents in the format of an online library of books, articles, reports, documents (Domestic Politics of Russia and International Politics). This resource has been created by the Russian Political Science Association and Institute for International Studies of the MGIMO University with support from the Russian Foundation for Fundamental Research and the Expert Institute for Social Research. It suggests new cataloguing system for political science literature by 59 thematic clusters that represent a renewed classification of political science subdisciplines and thematic areas. Among other types of information, this new resource covers political science publications from major Russian publishing houses specializing in humanitarian scientific literature and textbooks, as well as the most advanced scientific articles published by 25 Russian political science journals. The resource is intended to provide information and bibliographical support underlying modern scientific discourse in Russia focused on urgent issues of Russian domestic politics and international politics.
