В статье рассматриваются факторы, воздействующие на различные подходы Индии и Пакистана к инициативе “Один пояс - один путь” (ОПОП). Проведенный анализ призван осмыслить значение индийско-китайских отношений для вектора развития “века Азии” . Авторы приходят к выводу, что исторические паттерны в отношениях Китая, Индии и Пакистана, экономические условия, а также быстро меняющийся региональный и глобальный геополитический ландшафт являются влиятельными факторами, которые обусловливают реакцию Индии и Пакистана на ОПОП. Перечисленные факторы также оказывают значительное влияние на их двусторонние отношения. В статье рассматривается возможность нормализации сотрудничества между Индией и Китаем, учитывая связи Китая с Пакистаном, подход Индии к ОПОП и более широкую динамику политики великих держав в регионе вокруг Индийского океана. Исследование, базирующееся на эмпирических материалах, показало, что, несмотря на глубинные разногласия и различия между Китаем и Индией, между ними существует комплекс инструментов, регулирующих их взаимозависимость в частности в экономической сфере. Хотя трехсторонний механизм сотрудничества нереализуем в нынешних условиях, нормализация отношений Индии и Китая и Индии и Пакистана может быть достигнута посредством конкурентного сосуществования с минимальными конфликтами. Нормализация отношений между тремя странами может предоставить возможность продвинуть концепцию “века Азии”. Главные результаты вторичного анализа: во-первых, выявлены нестратегические и неконфликтные сферы, в которых Индия и Китай и Индия и Пакистан могут сотрудничать с целью укрепления отношений за пределами ОПОП; во-вторых, предложена единая система сотрудничества, которая учитывает все аспекты анализа для установления отношений совместимости в условиях конкурентного сосуществования.
